Elmwood Roof At their March 21 meeting, the School Committee awarded the contract for the Elmwood School roof replacement to the lowest bidder,  MDM Engineering of Dudley for $884,000. Superintendent Contract An agreement was reached between the School Committee and Hopkinton’s new Superintendent, Cathy MacLeod.

On Monday, December 3, Hopkinton held a Special Town Election with one ballot question to vote on funding a $1.1 million debt exclusion for a new roof for the Elmwood School. Approximately 5% of the registered voters participated and the roof vote passed overwhelmingly. This

Special Town Meeting was held last Monday, November 26. All three articles on the warrant passed, including the Elmwood School roof, which passed unanimously.  Approximately 115 registered voters participated, which represents only 1.1% of Hopkinton’s registered voters. Today is the Special Town Election ballot vote
