i. Minutes: The Board will consider approving executive session minutes for 10/8/19. ii. To discuss strategy with respect to contract negotiations with Fire and Dispatch Communications unions. iii. To consider the purchase, lease or value of real estate relative to the Upper Charles Trail.

The Select Board will consider approving the 10/8/19 Select Board Meeting Minutes.
ii. GIFTS
The Select Board will consider accepting a $500 gift to the Hopkinton K9 gift account from The Happy Retriever in Holliston from a fundraising event at Weston Nurseries.

The Select Board approved the Consent Agenda. (4-0)

6:45 PM SPECIAL TEMPORARY ALCOHOL LICENSE – HOPKINTON CENTER FOR THE ARTS FUNDRAISER ANNUAL GALA

2. The Select Board will consider approving a Special Temporary Alcohol License application for all alcoholic beverages, from Kelly Grill on behalf of the Hopkinton Center for the Arts, for its annual Fundraiser Gala, to be held at the HCA, 98 Hayden Rowe on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Estimated number of attendees is 120. Tickets will be sold for this event. Alcohol will be served by TIPS certified servers from Metrowest Catering. Supporting Exhibits: Application and supporting documents; Permitting Team Comments

The Select Board approved a Special Temporary Alcohol License, all alcoholic beverages, for the Hopkinton Center for the Arts Annual Gala on 11/2/19 from 7 pm to 11 pm at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts, 98 Hayden Rowe. (4-0)

6:50 PM SPECIAL TEMPORARY ALCOHOL LICENSE – SOUTH ASIAN CIRCLE OF HOPKINTON – FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS – DIWALI GALA AT HOPKINTON CENTER FOR THE ARTS

3. The Select Board will consider approving a Special Temporary Alcohol License application for wine and beer only, from Meena Kaushik on behalf of South Asian Circle of Hopkinton for a Festival of Lights Diwali Gala, on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Expected number of attendees is 120. Startline Brewery will be supplying the alcohol for the event and will be served by TIPS certified servers. Supporting Exhibits: Application and supporting documents; Permitting Team Comments

The Select Board approved a Special Temporary Alcohol License, wine and beer, for the Festival of Lights Diwali Gala on 11/9/19 from 5:30 pm to 10 pm at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts, 98 Hayden Rowe. (4-0)

4. The Select Board will consider approving an amendment to the Legacy Farms Host
Community Agreement. Supporting Exhibit: Legacy Farms Host Community Agreement as amended through September 2019

5. The Select Board will consider making the following appointments:
a. TRAFFIC CONSTABLE – Brittney Remillard for a term to expire June 30, 2022. Brittney is employed as a part-time Public Safety Dispatcher in Hopkinton.

The Select Board appointed Brittney Remillard as Traffic Constable, to a term expiring 6/30/2022. (5-0)
