Meet our 2020 Marathon Runner – Matt Lerner

We are so excited to have Matt running to raise money for eHop! Please consider making a donation online to support civic engagement in Hopkinton ehop.org/marathon.

A Needham, MA native, Matt grew up very involved in town sports and activities. At Needham High School, Matt was Captain of the Alpine Ski Team and an active member of the Student Council. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the University of Rochester and a Master’s degree in Public Health from Boston University before starting medical school at St. George’s University School of Medicine. Matt is currently a second-year medical student with hopes of completing his residency in Obstetrics upon graduation. In 2018, he ran the Boston Marathon and has since ran the Vermont City Marathon among other races. He has past experience in fundraising for both the Boston Marathon as well as in other capacities and is so excited to be running for eHop in the 2020 Boston Marathon!

eHop is a 501(c)4 “Civic League” non-profit. We are not a charity, so donations are NOT tax-deductible.
