Medical Marijuana Dispensary at Selectmen’s Meeting

At the Tuesday, December 1 Selectmen’s meeting, the Board will hear a brief presentation from CommCan, Inc. regarding a potential medical marijuana dispensary in Hopkinton and request the Selectmen consider signing a letter to the Department of Public Health in support or non-opposition of a dispensary being located within the Town’s permitted zoning districts.  The meeting begins at 6:45pm in Town Hall Room 215 with the Medical Marijuana Dispensary discussion scheduled for approximately 8:00pm. Update:

The Selectmen voted 3-0 to oppose an application to open a medical marijuana dispensary in town. Selectman Mosher recused himself, due to a conflict of interest with the applicant and stepped off the rostrum and the meeting room for the discussion. Selectman Herr was not in attendance.
