Annual Town Election Candidates and Caucuses

Hopkinton’s Annual Town Election is coming up on Monday, May 16. Several candidates have already taken out and returned nomination papers to secure a spot on the ballot. Other candidates may be waiting for the April 8 political party caucuses to try to win their party’s nomination and a spot on the ballot. This is an important election year and there is a lot of voter interest. Please try to attend your party’s caucus to help choose the best candidates to go on the ballot. There are still some offices without enough candidates, if you are willing to make the volunteer time commitment please consider stepping up or encourage others to put themselves on the ballot.

The Hopkinton Republican Town Committee will hold its caucus on Friday, April 8 at 5:00-7:00 pm in Room 211 at Town Hall. The Republican Caucus is open to all registered Republicans and unenrolled voters. For further information or to be placed on the Republican caucus ballot, contact Ken Weismantel, Chairman, at 508 435-5725 prior to April 7 at 8:00 pm.
